The Mirror

When I look in the Mirror, what do I see?

This question bothers me sometimes, well most of the time, I wonder why it bothers me so? So the question is when you look in the mirror what do you see?

For me, I see a girl with dark curly hair, dark eyes that are most of the time happy, a nose that is starting to hock (but what can I say), But that is not what the question really asks, the question isn't about ones physicall appearness but about ones inner self.

So what do I see about myself in the mirror that reflects out to the world well I hope the mirror shows the world that I am a kind hearted person, who Loves God. And the Good things I like about myself... But whatif the Mirror shows the world all my faults, the things that I try to hide even from myself. So when the Mirror shows me the things that I don't like, I know what I need to do... I give them to God to change.

So... After giving the things I don't like about my person to God to change, I still have to work with God to change them it has to be a conscience decision on my part to change. And for me I hate Change,
but I was reminded earlier that change is inevitable and that know matter how much I hate it I can't run from it

No matter what we think, say or do the world will strive to find the wrong in our lives. I agree, we should give it over to God, but we should also share our wrongs, our faults and our struggles. I’m the chief sinner when it comes to sharing. I run from it! I tell myself that it is no ones concern but my own or they won’t want to hear about my problems or they’ll think less of me when I do. That’s pride and I’m full of it when I think that way. I’ll give it over to God and I feel better when I do. But when I don’t confide in fellow believers I won’t be accountable to them and when there’s no one helping to keep you accountable it’s easier to fall back into that struggle.

I’m sorry, I just realised that had very little to do with what you posted.

yes looking in the mirror can be wonderful as well as painful. But we have a great great God! If we keep tune to his music we can hear what is good and what God wants us to change. Never stop looking in the mirror my dear one.....Mom
