Rain, rain, Go Away?

So, Today I was watching one of my kids play in the rain. And I relized the rain really doesn't make a difference to children. It only makes the difference to us "grown ups" because the rain effects traffic, modd swings, and well we(grown ups) don't like to get wet unless it is our choice in the matter. like playing in the sprinkler in the summer, or going swimming.
So the next time it rains do some puddle stomping or even play.
My thoughts are if it is raining don't feel bad because the rain makes things grow and it can be healthy. So if it is raining out, and the kids are stuck inside go ahead and let them out to play, and see what they do.
the kid i was watching playing in the rain didn't even notice, but he was happy, So it made me happy just watching him obilvious to the rain but thrilled with the puddles.
